A cloud, not a path.
The surface joins points of equal probability density; it is not a boundary containing a specified probability. In cloud mode, density becomes opacity. Color reveals phase. The cloud is a visual mapping of the wavefunction, not a photograph or an electron trajectory. Its brightness is normalized separately for each state. Optional lighting reveals depth; it is a visual aid, not emitted light.
