EXPERIMENT 003 / HYDROGEN OBSERVATORY

Possibility has a shape.

Go beyond the slice. Turn a hydrogen orbital in your hands, follow the phase around its lobes, and cut through the cloud to see the geometry within.

ONE ELECTRON / THIRTY STATES

Possibility has a shape.

Orbit the cloud, reveal a density surface, and cut through the geometry of hydrogen.

THE MODEL / SAME PHYSICS, ANOTHER DIMENSION

From a plane to a volume.

The analytic wavefunctions are the same as v0. A worker samples their complex amplitudes on a three-dimensional grid, with closer spacing near the nucleus. The GPU reconstructs the field and traces the view through it.

Surface mode draws a chosen density contour; it does not enclose a prescribed probability. Cloud mode maps density to opacity. Both offer phase coloring. Optional illustrative lighting makes depth easier to read and can be switched off.

Drag or use arrow keys to orbit, scroll or pinch to zoom, and cut along any of the three axes. Camera rotation is a change of viewpoint; the quantum state remains stationary.

A PERMANENT RECORD

Keep the first view.

Return to v0’s two-dimensional slices to compare the same states. Its original viewer and scientific artifacts remain available unchanged.
